Hearst mining building opening, UC Berkeley

Location Hearst Mining Building, University of California, Berkeley

Date Sep. 22, 2002, from 1.30 to 3.30 pm.

Scenario summary

The re opening of the Hearst Mining Building, one of UC Berkeley's most famous buildings, was an event during which many laboratories of the University got a chance to present their research interest to the public. The role of the Tele-Actor was therefore ambivalent during this re opening: we had a chance to show our technology to outsiders, and also broadcasted the opening live to everyone who could not attend this event directly.
