Printing

Before deciding to print, please take advantage of the spell checker and print preview facilities in the application you are using - the life of the toner cartridge and the printer itself will be lengthened. Once you decide to print, utilize draft whenever possible (most applications provide this as an option from the print menu). If an error is discovered on your hard copy, please reprint only the page with the correction, not the whole document (once again most applications provide this as an option from the print menu). When the printers run out of toner or paper, it is necessary to contact someone on the Laboratory Contact List above.

Increase your print quota ($5 per 100 pages):

  • IEOR Printer Quota
  • The Industrial Engineering and Operations Research printers are not copy machines.
If you need multiple copies of your documents there are many providers of these services in the Berkeley area.

See "printers" for the relevant printer names in each laboratory and how to setup a printer for your account.
